Les Braves (Omaha Beach)

This morning we visited a lace-making centre in Bayeux (see extra), then left our apartment (see our group in front of it in the other extra) and headed to Omaha Beach (real name: Saint-Laurent-sur-mer) where we walked along the beach and climbed up a hill to a lookout point. We also visited the American cemetery at Omaha Beach, which was quite moving. Nice lunch at a restaurant called "Le Trot" in a small town called Trevières, where we also picked up some things for dinner at a traiteur. The drive back to Paris was uneventful, and it's good to be back.
