Nearly First Class Service

In the end I was quite pleased that the package I posted first class arrived on day two. Given that I overheard the woman at the post office telling someone in front of me that she couldn’t guarantee when first or second class would arrive.

I now understand that the additional barcodes on stamps is to allow Royal Mail to provide additional services via the QR code. All I can say is “let me know how that works out for you”. I would have thought if they focused on their core business i.e. delivering things on time and in one piece that would be progress.

In other news, managed to tackle a fair bit today ahead of the madness that will be month end next week.

Survived the weekly shop and now about to enjoy Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation once again.
