End of a brief era

Kilmartin Museum has been closed for redevelopment for the last two years. The museum cafe was a local institution, so it was a delight that Lucy's of Ardfern set up an outpost beside the site which served decent coffee, bakes, and their famous sausage rolls for the last two years.
They close tomorrow. T (shown here) is off to spend a year treading the aisles and travelling the world as cabin crew for BA before she continues her studies.
I bumped into with S, the curator for the museum at the end of my walk around Kilmartin Glen and caught up with the latest on the redevelopment of the site. It's all very exciting, and it will be wonderful when the museum reopens its doors some time next year.
We're very lucky to have institutions like these in the area.
Extra is the view of the redevelopment as seen from the Glebe Cairn.
