the wee church

Not to be confused with the Wee Free Church.

In the early days of Milton Keynes there was height limit on buildings. The planners wanted the sky-line to be dominated more by trees, rather than high-rise buildings.  

So the church in the city centre is probably out of proportion, given its rather classical lines. Close up, it looks as if it should be a bit taller.  But I don't think it really matters.
