Slow progress
Progress on ‘the development of 9 executive houses’ has been so slow that the pipes have rusted in their piles.
It’s not alone; in fact progress can be so slow as to move backwards.
One building in the village that must have been a shop once was finally bought up. It was demolished, and, in its place, three large holes, each probably the size needed for the foundations of a modern house, were dug.
Quite some time later, the holes were filled in. Nothing else has happened since.
