Golden Leaves

Thankfully a nice day after yesterday's washout. Sunshine and blue sky. The lake was replenished and the water clear. In an odd corner leaves had washed in and shone brightly in the warm afternoon sun. A definite chill in the air though as temperatures topped out at 50°f.

I liked the contrast of the golden leaves against the dark coloured water. Even though it's shallow there, the bottom was in shadow. I cropped to a 5:7 because there was too much negative space on the right.
