Kevin's Place

Kevin Moran (e1) and a really nice guy David (e2). 

Both ex-servicemen Kevin used to be in the guards and this pub a couple of hundred meters wall away from the one (url below) which used to be his local when he was serving.

Real old school, he has no internet, still uses and old mechanical Bakelite phone. He and David tried to persuade me to come to one of the monthly jazz gigs he hosts first (but not every) Sunday of the month. Unfortunately he has no mobile phone, email etc so no way for me to find out when it's on. 

Nb this is the 3rd blip day covering the first day of my 24 hours in London over 2 days, so another London gig series.

Watched with Mrs M last night (realtime) from the director of "Three billboards outside ebbing, Missouri". Outstanding and my guess as favourite for an Oscar best picture win this year.
