AGM

30 years, half a lifetime on the running club committee. It seemed that I was the only one in the room who knew how long I'd actually been there. In their typed report, the chair-person thanked me for 14 years of service?!
That's when you know it's time to move on.

It has been thoroughly rewarding and positive, providing many happy memories.
Nevertheless, I did walk away feeling rather sad and deflated.
