PINKTOBER - DAY 29 - SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

JH Ted here - I thought I should make an appearance for BCAM 2022, so here I am.  We were very pleased when Mrs. HCB decided to buy some Percy Pig sweets down at the garage yesterday, because we all like them and of course, they do sell M & S Food - however, she was a bit miffed that they don’t do the 3 for 2 deal as they do in the stores.  She still bought them though and Mr. HCB said that they would be good to eat on their way down to the seaside tomorrow, so I guess that means they won’t be opening them today, which is a shame.  The ones who get to go with them will be lucky though, won’t they?

It was about time we all got out into the HCBs’ garden, and we decided to have our photograph taken for Silly Saturday with their garden clock, given to them by the daughter of their lovely neighbour, Lynn, which shows not only the time but the temperature and also the humidity on a hygrometer.  You can see when Mrs. HCB took this photograph, it was just after 9.30 a.m., the temperature was 60°F or 15.5°C and the humidity was 52 - we’re not sure what all this means, and to be fair, although it had been raining, it wasn’t that cold. 

Mrs. HCB says she has a lot to do today for the service tomorrow as well as packing for their mini holiday, but Mr. HCB reminded her that they were only going to be away for 3 nights, so she didn’t need to take 6 of everything!  How rude and silly because she said she feels the cold and needs to be sure she has enough warm clothing.  We think that Admirer would have smiled had she heard the exchange between them!

Mr. HCB has gone to check the tyres on the car and then he is going to Tesco to fill it with petrol;  he has made Mrs. HCB promise that she won’t open the packets of Percy Pigs - so we will keep a careful eye on her too because we know what she’s like. We think we know who will be going to the seaside with them, but won’t spoil the surprise.  We did hear Mrs. HCB say that although she will go on clicking this LINK, she will be glad when she doesn’t have to keep looking for something pink for her Blip after Monday.
