Snapdragon ( Antirrhinum majus )
A day round the house and garden with the kids. My main activity was having a kickabout with Daniel at what seemed like regular intervals. At the top of the lawn is an area of slate chippings with various things growing in "pots".
I took the camera out with me every time we were out but Daniel kept me too busy. As we finished one session I spotted a Snapdragon still with a few flowers. I was getting desperate for a blip so I took a few shots.
Antirrhinum are native to a wide sweep of the globe. Europe, North Africa and across the Atlantic in USA and Canada. hile technically a perennial plant they are short lived.
