Bridge.
West Cumbria has disused railway lines all over, lines which connected to mainlines to move coal and iron to markets. Now some of these lines are country walks where every so often there are reminders of the importance of these lines. Today you can see an old carriage, one which wouldn't have been used on these lines, but where the original line would have been. The railway bridge has long been demolished. The road was closed was closed to traffic as workers dug a channel at the roadside. Thankfully work stopped so the blue refuse lorry was allowed through! A grey day with rain.
