The easterly breeze of morning gave way to storm force by early afternoon. The crew of the small dinghy were enjoying an exhilarating sail, surfing at great speed until they realised it would be a long hard beat back to the clubhouse. They did the right thing by requesting rescue before tiredness and cold set in.
