Avocado

Photo sent by my son to cheer me up.

This is the avocado plant which started life in my compost bin.
It went with me to the south of France where I stayed for about 4 weeks. I wasn't able to meet my son as we'd hoped due to the constantly changing Covid regulations.
So it went all the way back to Brittany. In strong sunshine the whole time, it certainly suffered!
However I took it on my next trip and handed it over. We weren't at all sure it would survive.

However, here it is! He's now taken out the growing tip and hopes it will thicken up a bit.
