The Old Farm House.....

a few months ago.... and then on a clear day!

I helped my friend Charlotte take a screen door out to her daughter's place....then we brought back an old table that was in her old farm house (her daughter used to live there) which was completely covered in very old junk! After struggling to get this table out a very narrow door, much huffing and puffing, grunting etc....we did it, but then realised that with a few turns the legs came off....the next 2 doors were much easier to navigate!!! "Dah" is all i said when we came upon this discovery!!

Back to Charlotte's home in Baddeck and unloaded the table. She gave me one of her beautiful dried flowers under glass pieces, as a belated birthday gift!!

Then i had to get groceries and found out that the Co-op in sleepy little Baddeck, had been broken into last night and they (4 guys in black hoodies and bandanas) took off with the safe and all the cigarettes!
What a check eh! so there was police tape all over the place, and it was of course the main topic of conversation! i jokingly suggested it was an inside job....that made them laugh! but it is such a shocking thing to find out that your community isn't so immune to this type of act!

Sunny and warm today....flowers sprouting up everywhere!
