All bone , no skin

The Halloween decorations are cropping up everywhere with only a day or two to go. This one is just a couple of hundred yards away. We're expecting a big turnout of trick or treaters now that C-19 is less on peoples' minds. (Last year, we were in Mexico for Dia de Los Muertos so we don't know what the turnout was like).
In fact, my instructions for tomorrow are to get the smoke machine out and get it ready.
Apart from that, well,.....apart from that, all that happened was I did the 3 monthly change of the filter on the furnace, turned off both outside taps at the sources inside, and disconnected and drained the hoses outside. We don't want any more split pipes like we had this spring.

Tomorrow, the deluge is still forecast.

Ah well...
