Sunshine? All day? High temperatures? Blue skies? On a bank holiday Monday? Surely not...

Oh yeah! I think I'm still in shock.

Our village held a big fun day today at the cricket club - stalls, games, a few rides, a barbecue, entertainment... It was brilliant fun! We all took blankets and picnics and sat in the sun all day enjoying the atmosphere. (This was what happened last time the village had a celebration on a bank holiday Monday!)

I say all - H spent most of it playing in a big pile of hay bales that had been put there for the children to play on. Jumping, making tunnels, climbing... He's such a boy.

Work tomorrow. How rude. I only have three days to work this week though, so I shouldn't really complain...!
