Two Dollar Bottle Versus Veuve

I hope Kath Gordon doesn't see this one. Non-Australian bubbly in our household.

How could this happen?

Easy.

My Mum bought Jo this bottle of French bubbly for her birthday a few months ago. With her Dad's house settling this week she decided that this weekend would be a good time to drink it as a celebration of sorts. Who am I to argue. I can't blip it tomorrow because I have something else lined up. Sunday I suspect it will be gone. So, tonight was the only chance to include it in my signature blip, along with what I am actually drinking, $2 cleanskin chardonnay. Not a bad drop too.

BTW, Jo and I don't mind a drop of French Champagne when the budget allows or when someone gives it to us. Both are not very often.

Today was very busy. I won't go into it too much but suffice to say some things were achieved and some things weren't. A 50/50 result which is not bad all things considered.

The weekend is looking busy. Golf on Sunday I hope. Way too much planned for tomorrow. Something will have to give if I decide to sleep in.

Anyway, Cheers (Sip of $2 wine). Here's to the start of the weekend.
