Bank Holiday

One of those rare beasts - a fine bank holiday weekend. Especially rare, since we spent most of it in North Wales, and the remainder inSettle, in the Yorkshire Dales. Neither place being renowned for it's tropical weather, to bask in the sun in both was unusual! True, one might have to ignore that Wales was rather on the blustery side, but all the same no rain! This photograph doesn't really do what I wanted - none of the ones from this evening did. The clarity of the air from the Dales, looking to the lakes was however exceptional, Ingleborogh looking hardly closer than those peaks forty miles away. Also Happy Birthday Angela x
