Our Pond.....the result of no rain!

I know some of you are a bit interested in knowing how our pond is doing after such a dry summer and autumn. Well here it is! The green verges would be roughly where the water would end so the water level is very low. But not as low as it was last winter before the end of the garden flooded. So all we can hope for is another flood which will top it up nicely.

We have been having a good look through some holiday brochures today. Having cancelled our Kenya safari trip this year we are determined to book another one soon...but not in Kenya! There are some very interesting ones on offer so hopefully we will get to Africa next year!
