a day of many parts

This was an eclectic day of childcare, baking, tree-planting, swimming lessons, fancy dress and play reading.

Zeke came with me to plant a tree and just seemed to absorb nature. He worked hard without complaint and chattered at me happily. A treat.

Then swimming with Isaac who completed Stage One and was immensely proud about it.

Then Miss Eve helped with the creation of claret and blue icing for a certain blipper’s big day. We spent ages getting claret, eventually making it work by adding navy to a pinky purple mix. Not sure we could do it again!

Gratefuls:

1. Fresh air;
2. Agatha Christie japes with an eclectic bunch from book club;
3. Antony washing up after I left kitchen chaos behind.
