Winchelsea

A day of visits to various houses and places around East Sussex. Went to Winchelsea where we watched a choir performing in the graveyard and visited Spike Milligan’s grave (as in photo) where the inscription is in Gaelic but means “I told you I was ill” apparently. It’s said that the parish wouldn’t let it be written in English. Dropped in on S on the way back. Clocks go back tonight.
