Magical History Tour.

Our friends took us on a historically themed drive round Northamptonshire. The main is a memorial cross, built in 1290, to commemorate Eleanor of Castile, Queen to Edward the First. Said King, grief stricken, walked 200 miles in a funeral procession, and at  each of the twelve stops, of which this was one, a memorial was placed.
Extra 1: Another view, showing the village of Geddington.
Extra 2: A carved figure at prayer, probably 11th - 14th century.
Extra 3: The pack bridge at Geddington.
