Spooky Swim

It was the Hallowe’en firework swim at Boundary Water Park this evening. I decided to go as ‘Day of the Dead’. I painted my face and wore the all in one costume Tracey bought me. Victoria picked me up en route and we whizzed off to Knutsford. I was certainly the most colourful swimmer there!

Cath, Jackie and Tina were there along with about a hundred swimmers. We all had glow sticks and lights on our heads and tow floats and it looked fantastic as we swam in the inky black lake. The water level was much lower than the last time I was there and the reeds wrapped themselves around you as you swam….urgh. The water temp was 13° so not too bad, but I’m glad of my electric blanket now I’m home.
