Spooky Halloween face

At least I was trying to see one. I went for a walk on the Coastal Rd. and where Shepardson Brook flows under the road there was all sorts of swirly foam. There were great patterns flowing around. I saw one good face form and then waited for quite a while before these spooky eyes appeared.  I kind of thought the grass looked like hair and maybe a mouth was lower on. Just use your imagination :-) Anyway, it was fun to watch but I always get a little nervous holding my phone over flowing water so I didn't linger too long.
It was another glorious day with a frosty start. I wonder when the cooler weather will actually come and stay.
