Il trovatore

Today was our first opera of the season: we went to see Il trovatore at the Kennedy Center.   A pretty good performance and the music was really good.  We usually go by car, but the Marine Corps marathon was happening this morning causing a bunch of road closure.  We decided that rather than dealing with that we would use the metro, hence today's blip.  The inside of the metro stations have always amazed me, for how 'neat' and 'beautiful' they are.
