On Safari!

In a bid to escape our build at home and also to enjoy the fabulous weather this bank holiday - we booked a last minute mini break to Kent!

We spent a day at Lympne Port - part of the Aspinal Foundation. It is the most fantastic animal park - which really is all about the animals and nothing to do with flogging you stuff.

We headed out to the African experience in a safari truck where we saw ostrich, giraffes and more wildebeests than you can shake a stick at. Then on our return, this zebra was not too shy at all and so I got a nice shot of him!

The highlight of the trip was the wonderful gorillas, who although, bred in captivity, they are hoping to rehome them to Africa in the coming year.

A fabulous day was had by all - we'll be back!
