White Horse

Our Winter Droving Event resumed this year. An annual celebration of farming and country life. About a dozen, huge paper lanterns are wheeled around the town from Drover's Lane by people wearing animal masks.

There's lots of loud music and lit torches, too.

The event fills the town for the whole day but we only ever go for the evening parade of lanterns. It amused me that this white horse was passing the White Horse pub. (The horse is white when unlit in daylight, I was trying not to over-expose it.)
