Where's Wally?

It was possibly an act of madness to go up to London today. It seemed like the entire population of the UK was crammed in up there today!!!

In the morning we visited Apsley House , home of the Duke of Wellington, then the Wellington Arch.

We then headed off into the crowded, sunny streets to the South Bank to see our friend Anji sing with her choir at the Royal Festival Hall, this afternoon - great stuff it was too, good old uplifting harmonies.

When that finished we met up for a drink with our lovely friends, Dawn and Vidar, who are over from France. It was so heaving with people that we ended up in a bar right by Waterloo Station.... not the best view in town, but at least we had a chance to catch up.

Lovely to have had the glorious sunshine on a Bank Holiday!
