New Life

When I was out in the garden planting daffodil bulbs the other day I noticed that a lot of them had already begun to develop shoots….I thought it was rather nice to see them coming to life.

Today I picked out one and set it on top of one of the pots that I have filled and then snapped it with the ‘nifty fifty’ lens and a 20mm extension tube to get it to fill the frame!! Just hand held and no fancy lighting tricks! I liked all the textures of the wrinkly covering. The purple colour in the background is another of the big (plastic) pots I filled!

Hoping for some nice pots of flowers in spring (I also put hundreds in the ground)!
