in Bath, the family are ready for Halloween with these home carved pumpkin lanterns.

We had Christmas at ATN singing this morning. A new rendition of Angels from the Realms of Glory was very nice. We’re doing a different version of O Come all ye Faithful and have Hark the Herald Angels Sing to come. Nice to do these alternative versions but when you’ve been singing the originals for well over 60 years they are probably harder to get to grips with than something you’ve never heard before.

Didn’t shop today but went to Woodbank garden centre, on the edge of our village, on the way home for a coffee. 
In the florists area there were some nice touches for Halloween and the staff in the Potting Shed were dressed appropriately.

I like seeing the pumpkins in use and some of the carvings are very impressive. I’m less impressed with the spooky tat but each to their own.
