Dipper and Autumn leaves
A major Autumn clean of some rooms in the house - exhausted.
Earlier after an excellent sleep (5-6 hours without waking is very rare)
1)
I listened to the last 90 minutes of the new Ian Rankin Rebus audiobook from 5:30am - new idea De-caff Coffee with breakfast
2)
Walked towards Cat Wood until the Cows appeared so I retreated to the park and saw neighbours to talk to and Grey Wagtail, Redwing and Dipper seen - looked good with the Autumn leaves.
Neighbours talked politics (Truss phone hacked), bricklayers, Land Registry, Dogs IDing disease and the Cornell Labs Merlin ID app to ID those birds in that bush that we can't hear - different people thrilled to get Redwing and Long-tailed Tit
11:0am Real Coffee!!
and then all that cleaning started.
Happy Halloween if you like that kind of thing.
Interesting letters in the Guardian on the subject - remembering what it was like (specifically in Scotland) 60-70 years ago before American Trick or Treat cruelty took over.
