Halloween

Wasn’t going to carve a pumpkin lantern this year, didn’t feel right. But then the photo in extras from two years ago popped up in this morning’s random iPad slideshow, and it reminded me how much mum enjoyed celebrating all the different festivals throughout the year. So this evening I made a small lantern, for mum. Sadly she never got to eat the Halloween sweet treats I’d bought for her earlier this month...

This morning a two hour visit from the vicar to plan the funeral service, which I had to do on my own. A difficult and emotional day...
