Arbery of Wantage.

I went to Wantage this morning to get my flu jab as this was the closest place according to the NHS website.

I met up with Mr CFJ on his lunch break and we had a quick meal in the Vale and Downland museum cafe.

I had time for a wander around the museum and absolutely loved the items from the haberdashers. I remember the shop when I lived there in the early 1990s. It closed in 1996, having traded in Wantage for 100 years.

The shop is now a COSTA- being refurbished at the moment ( I hope they have kept some of the original fittings and don’t just make it the usual bland, corporate cafe that you get everywhere).
