Spring or autumn?

A flower, I believe of the white campion (Silene latifolia), that normally blooms in spring time, in the middle of autumn. Is this normal?
And it's not the only flower I saw. In our garden and in the untouched nature there are several flowers we normally see in the first half of the year. Weird.
