take that moment kid...

After the big walk yesterday, today's outdoor activity was 'marketed' to the kids as a lakeside adventure - with no uphill involved. Sienna helpfully drew me a picture of sad people trudging up a mountain on one side and happy people playing at a lake on the other - so "I got the picture"!!!

So we walked around Coniston Lake and they swam and jumped and played and all was good. Of course they walked three times as far as they did yesterday but it seems it is not the distance but the elevation that causes the grief - shame we are surrounded by mountains then!
