The Bush Creek …

….. waterfalls, partway up to the treeline.
We walked from the beginning of Bush Creek, near to where it flows into the Arrow River, up to the beginning of the hanging valley that leads to the Bush Creek Saddle. That was a fair bit of altitude gain! It took us about 2.5 hours all up. The beech trees that we walked through were so beautiful, tall and green.

The Bush Creek Track starts from the Coronet Peak road, winds it’s way across the flank of Coronet Peak, to the Bush Creek Saddle, and then down a narrow winding track, to Arrowtown itself, if you want to go as far as that.
It’s a dual purpose track; pedestrians & bikes.
