A cat, fungi and leaves

A muddy walk on Llynclys Common.  I met an old friend and his wife who live onthe edge of the common so it was good to catch up with them.

There were lots of fungi of various types and lovely wet leaves from the recent rain.

I'm not a fan of Halloween but children are all in it in a big way.  We took I to an event at the castle.  Fancy dress was optional and she wanted to be a cat so her mum and I made a quick outfit that she was very pleased with.

They toasted marshmallows then had a play around the castle before going for a lantern/torch walk around the village.  She enjoyed it very much.
