A Thorn in My Finger

This is probably the tiniest thing I have ever photographed. 
No more than 1mm in length, it was the tip of a rose thorn which stuck in my finger.
Being on the inside of my right index finger it was very difficult for me to get out. I had a go yesterday but gave up. 
It started to go red this morning so I let Mr isbi try. After a bit of dig, I gave it a squeeze and it popped out.

Today I went for a swim then minded the kids. Jane put on a 25 minute tantrum when Bec left. I must say it was quite impressive but I pretended to ignore her and once she turned it off she was particularly pleasant for the rest of the afternoon.
