Spiranthes odorata

This is an orchid, Autumn Lady’s Tresses, a variety from Eastern Canada.
When I saw it’s name, odorata, I thought I should have a sniff! And yes it has a lovely vanilla and jasmine fragrance.
This is a rescue plant passed on to us by a friend, and it needs some TLC to bring it into a really good flowering state by next autumn, but it has shown that it’s worth it already.
