We started our day at Bude - a short walk then a stroll on the beach. Found a lovely cafe right on the seafront for hot chocolate. We were enjoying watching the waves when the storm came rolling in so we moved to a sheltered area and the rain hammered down, turning to hail, so we were glad of the roof!
Then on to SandymouthBaywheretbis photo was taken. Simply stunning in the sunshine.
Our next stop was Hartland Quay. I didn’t get out of the car here as my energy level was so low but it was still lovely just watching the waves hammering in.
Our last stop was Appledore where we had a short walk - I love all of the old cottages there.
