Quarry Beaujean

Here you have a view of the Beaujean quarry, while where you take the photo is the area of the former Quaedvlieg quarry.

In the past silver sand was extracted here by horse and cart, nowadays the sand is sucked from the bottom and washed by the "factory" that is still standing on the silver sand. Silver sand will be mined here for a few more years.
