Still on the Roof

These roofers have been up on our neighbours' roof for several days in all kinds of weather.  I have battened down Shep in her hutch with her heated pad, brought in the towels from the line and locked the door against the blast when the rain began....and they are still up there!  At least they look to be on the finishing touches, having turned the slates and re pointed it all.

I did some outdoor jobs this morning before the front moved in, clearing the first batch of leaves from the front of the house; taking away the window box and cleaning the window; cutting down the long stalks in the mini meadow in preparation for mowing back on a good day.
