Darmstadt State Museum

…as seen from the west. In the centre and left is part of the main building from 1897-1902, housing the departments of natural history, local history, antique remains, and the print collection. On the right is the addition for the fine art collection. It’s a truly generalist museum, arisen from the Grandducal collections.
