Correa pulchella.
I hope I have named this correctly. This shows the 3 stages of the flowers; buds, full flower and what is left.
The Correa belongs to the Boronia family. Years ago I planted this in my garden, as it reminds me of Australia, and it also grows very well without any fuss or tender-loving-care. Plus it is now in full flower and flowers when there isn't much else out in the garden.
The temperature in the mornings here has got into single digits (Celsius), so it is now time to start planning our yearly trip to Australia to the Gemfields in Central Queensland.
The Other Half is negotiating a deal that he and 2 of his mates go over early to the Australia v Lions rugby game on 22nd June in Brisbane. Watch this space and see what happens!! Things for him to consider; new laptop, macro lens.........
