Burn

The water in this small burn is quite high today. By the time of posting this picture the water must be much higher. There has been non-stop rain for about four hours now.

The day started with a burst of sunshine. This did not last long; soon, the sky had clouded over. About lunchtime, the rain started gently but quickly became quite heavy. There has also been a very strong wind, possibly gale force, all afternoon.

On Sunday, after heavy rain, several roads in Aberdeen were flooded. I should not be surprised to read that the flooding has been repeated.
