A Mountain for Molly
In fond memory of the incomparable Molly, Amalarian of Tuscany, on this second anniversary of her final blip. Her journal is entertaining and informative, rich in the ways of Tuscany, and beautifully written. But that was only part of the story. Her comments on our blips were encouraging and supportive, delightfully witty, and often included an amusing anecdote. Oh, how we miss her.
The mountains appeared this morning sporting a new mantle from the southerly storm. The birds are masked lapwings, two of five that were circling. They are easily identified by their loud, raucous cries.
