My 'ol friend called and invited us to lunch today. We went to a local seafood restaurant and had a great meal. We spent plenty of time getting caught up. He has some pretty serious medical issues and has stayed close to home since COVID. What a thief COVID has turned out to be. 
The extra is him and I but hubby took that one. Just wanted to add it since Mark will be returning to FL and I do not know when we will get together again. His home in Port Charlotte took a direct hit from hurricane Ian and he has been here since then. Roof, damaged walls and flooding repairs begin soon and he wants to be there to see that things are done correctly.
