The snow has started
I woke up at 6am and couldn’t get back to sleep so decided to get up. I was still feeling tired because I hadn’t slept well. I’d gone to bed by 11pm but Penny and her friends were chatting and laughing until 1am and kept waking me up.
Penny has a lecture at 9.30am so I have her a lift and then picked her up just before midday. After lunch, I dropped her off again because she was spending the afternoon volunteering at the food bank. It had started to snow but didn’t look like it would stick but Penny said that it would eventually. It seemed to be a mix of rain and snow. The snow did start to stick so we drove to Nose Hill. It was absolutely freezing there and we couldn’t stay out for very long. We drove to Kensington and went to a Mexican restaurant called ‘Blancos’ where they have a deal called Tuesday tacos (50% off). Penny has bought some Christmas baubles in Goodwill earlier so when we got home, she and Kayleigh decorated the Christmas tree (far too early).
