Sailing ships by Yoshida Hiroshi

Hiroshi made six different prints of these sailing ships, titled morning - before noon - afternoon - mist - evening - night. I blipped the first three. 
The Art and History Museum in Brussels is showing 202 of these 'New Prints' (Shin Hanga). 'New Prints' was a movement to renew the art of printmaking at the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibition covers the years 1900 - 1960. If you are interested in Japanese art, then this is a must see exhibition. The quality of the prints on show is just stunning.
