Wet drive home

I visited old friend Judy in her home in Forest Green. She has recently moved up from Dorset back into her home county of Surrey. It was good to see her home and all the work she and John have done on it. We talked about people we had known all those years ago.
I chose a country route home across the villages of Leith Hill. It had been a wet and windy night and it was still raining on and off. The narrow lanes were full of leaves and standing water, so it was an exciting drive home. I pulled off the road into a car park in Sutton Abinger to take this timeless view, very typical of old Surrey cottages.
